These clocks were produced in large numbers right up to
the 20th century. Their quality fusee movements together with the easily read
dial make them both practical and efficient timepieces. This one is fitted
with maintaining work and optional datework. Full details of the construction
are given both for the movement and case. Appendices describe the construction
of a simple crossing out marking jig and a simple depthing
