For many horologists an English Regulator represents the
ultimate in the mechanical clock. These clocks were always of a high quality
and usually embodied certain features including a temperature compensated
pendulum, maintaining work, a quality escapement such as the dead beat and the
traditional dial layout. This clock has all these features plus an optional
breakaway crutch. The description is profusely illustrated showing the Cowel
Lathe on which the clock was constructed. The backplate casting and dial are
both available from suppliers given in the manual. This is an excellent
project for the serious constructor.

The manual contains 100 pages with over 350 illustrations on the construction of the movement and the case. Cutters Module 0.6
